Gifted and Talented Education

 

Our school recognises that gifted and talented students may have different learning needs to other students and require an individualised learning approach. We seek to cater for their needs with a variety of strategies in class. In addition, we run the WiseOnes in-school program.

 

WiseOnes in-school program

 

We are very proud to offer selected students the opportunity to participate in the WiseOnes program. WiseOnes specialises in Gifted and Talented Education, helping fast learners develop their potential through specialised programs. The programs run at faster pace, allowing these students to learn rapidly and delve much further into topics. Class sizes are kept small to enable this.

 

We run classes for our Junior, Middle and Upper school students and each class runs for an hour per week. Classes are held here at the school so parents do not need to take their child out of school and transport them to another venue.

The topic is Astronomy and children focussed on the astral system, learning to locate specific constellations.
